Large 4to (10 9/16 x 8 in.; 270 x 203mm). Title-page printed in red and black, 62 mounted albumen photographs (approx: 7 x 4 1/2 in.; 178 x 114mm, with some trimmed to roundels) by John George Hyde; foxing primarily to title and endleaves, some toning to sky in a few images, but generally fine. Original blue cloth over bevelled boards, upper board pictorially stamped with camp scene in black and gilt, lower board blindstamped, all edges gilt, yellow endpapers; one or two minor spots to boards. Blue cloth-covered slipcase.
