Condition

Scattered old worm damage throughout, especially on cresting and claw-and-ball feet. Covered throughout in dark staining, rubbed in places. Small nicks, scratches and losses, commensurate with age. One chair with partially replaced internal side rail. The proper right front corner blocks on each chair engraved with Roman numerals II and III respectively. One return replaced, and minor variations in carving. Upholstery is worn.
