Condition
This canvas is lined. Underneath a slightly uneven varnish, the paint surface is well retained and shows a lovely figure. Inspection under UV light reveals isolated retouches to the craquelure on the sitter's face and hands. The painting is offered in a ebonized frame with an inner gold liner.
