each modeled in mirror image as a standing lady, each wearing long robe brightly enameled with butterflies, flower sprays and iron-red and gilt decorated roundels, holding a gu-form vase forming a candleholder.

Condition

One broken through the neck, extensive restoration to hands and fronts of sleeve, and appears to have a restored break from the back shoulder through to the front of the body curving down to below the right hand sleeve below the back of the robe. Restoration is old and yellowed, Face with over painting. The other with restoration to both wrists, fingers and the vase.
