each piece painted in sepia, gilding and iron-red with the ‘Great Seal of the United States’, comprising: a coffee pot and cover, a sugar bowl and cover, a helmet-shaped cream jug, a bowl and four teabowls and saucers. 14 pieces

Condition
All pieces with characteristic firing imperfections and loss of gilding scattered throughout.
Coffee pot and cover: Coffee pot with a chip to the interior rim measuring approx. 1/2 in. in length with associated hairline, there is also a star crack to the base, and minor crack where the spout joins the body, the cover with loss to gilding of the knop and around the rim and a small nick to the interior lip.
Sugar bowl and cover:Sugar bowl in overall good condition, the cover with loss to gilding of the knop, foliate band and around the rim.
Helmet shaped cream jug: with an approx. 1.5 in. stained hairline to the side of the spout.
Teabowls: the first with a minor rim frit; the second with 3 hairlines and associated chips, longest measuring approx 1.5 in.; the third with a rim chip and associated approx. 1.5 in. stained hairline; the fourth with one approx. 5/8 in. hairline. All with chips and nicks scattered throughout.
Saucers: The first in overall good condition; the remaining ones all have at least one hairline (one with two) and the longest measuring approx. 7/8 in., with chips and nicks scattered throughout.
Bowl: the bowl with a stained hairline measuring approx. 1 3/4 in.
