  • diameter of largest 9 1/8  in.; 23.2 cm
comprising three plates painted with the arms of Mills impaling Webber, Pole, and Thompson quarterly with Roundell in pretence respectively; and one soup plate painted with the arms of Macpherson, the rims painted with Meissen style cartouches.

Condition

The following are according to their position illustrated in the catalogue: Top (Mills impaling Webber): a hairline at 9 o'clock direction measuring approx. 1 5/8 in. Left (Macpherson):completely oversprayed and extent of restoration not known Right (Thompson quarterly with Roundell in pretence): completely oversprayed and extensively over painted, 3 cracks at the rim visible under flashlight between 2 to 4 o'clock directions, extent of other restorations not known Bottom (Pole): completely oversprayed and extent of restoration not known
