Description

  • 15.9 cm; 37.5 cm
comprising a Teapot, Creamer and Sugar Bowl, all with dragon handles or supports, the bodies with panels of densely embossed and chased battle scenes on matted ground. Together with an associated two-handled Tray engraved and applied with cherry blossoms, with bamboo-form handles and on four ball feet by Cheong Shing, Shanghai. 4 pieces.

Condition

sugar bowl with repairs to three of the dragon-tail feet and two dragons with some casting-flaws that resulted in some splits near spine, coffee pot with some dents to finial; otherwise set and tray in good condition with only minor surface nicks
