Description

  • copper, enamel
  • height of candlesticks 9 3/4 in.; height of caddy 4 1/2 in.
  • 24.8 cm; 11.5 cm
the candlesticks with flower sprays on white ground, cobalt reserves edged and painted in gold, matching detachable nozzles. Together with a similar tea caddy with lakeside scene with fisherman and cows and floral sprays on white ground. 3 pieces.

Condition

both candlesticks with cracks to enamel, one with a few small areas of enamel loss and repairs, the other with larger areas of enamel loss and extensive repairs to nozzle, sconce and base of stem, base of stem has broken and requires new restoration to make it stable; the caddy with some small losses and cracks to enamel at angles and around mounts, glue residue around mounts, cover repainted
