Catalogue Note

The scene depicts an African-American family reacting to another likely member of the family bursting through the front door in a sudden motion.  The mother is stunned and falls backwards, dropping the apples that she was steadily holding.  Surprisingly, the children seem the least effected by the amusing interruption.
