inscribed Ship John Coggeshall NEWPORT RI / T.L. Albro 1839 / Sperm Whale, the reverse inscribed LONGITUDE / Neptune with his Attendants.

Condition

With a good patina, slightly yellowed color. Worn tip and some minor wear on the eagle's breast, name, and date. A 3 in. stress crack through inscription at base.
