painted and embroidered on silk with French knots, the monument inscribed to Richard Whellen who died November 25, 1804; the reverse bearing an old jelly label inscribed Mrs. Warren A. Ransom Rye, New York Embroidered by the widow of my great, great, great grandfather.
Condition
With several vertical splits in the sky; abrasions and paint loss in the same area. Split on extreme left side where strainer is; loss upper middle sky. Replaced black glass mat.
