Condition

Overall in very good condition. The wooden surface with minor scattered scuffs and fine scratches. The the top surface with minor spotting and flaking to the varnish, partially visible in the catalog illustration. The interior edge of the top surface with an isolated area of gentle lifting of the veneer, is stable and visible upon very close inspection only. The inlaid marquetry with fine hairline cracks visible upon close inspection. A stunning and iconic design in superbly carved high relief in very good condition.
