Condition

Overall very good condition. The bronze surfaces of both the pen brush and pen with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions, some instances of pitting, and areas of light wear to the gilt finish consistent with age and gentle handling. The enameled decoration on both elements is in very good condition and appears all intact and undisturbed. The pen brush appears to retain the original horse hair. A rare opportunity to see these two complementary forms presented together.
