Condition
Overall very good condition. The patinated bronze surfaces display a rich green and russet brown patina, with some scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions consistent with age and gentle handling. The patina has been possibly sensitively touched up with pigment in select small areas where the bamboo fronds fan outward. The decorated favrile glass shade is in very good condition with scattered minute air bubbles, particulate inclusions, and surface irregularities inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The shade with some expected concentrated minor surface scratches at the bottom collar where the shade is installed into the base, not visible when the shade is installed. The bobeche shade fitter appears to be a later replacement. A fine and attractive example of the Bamboo candlestick motif.
