Condition

Overall very good condition. The patinated bronze surfaces display an exceptionally rich green and russet brown patina, with some occasional minor surface scratches and abrasions consistent with age and gentle handling. The foot with some areas of very light rubbing to the patina. The glass candle cups are brilliantly iridized with strong color and luminosity. The glass with some scattered minute air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detractive. One candle cup with a possible particulate inclusion or trace of surface soiling to the interior, only visible when viewed with remitted light. With a period snuffer that is attached to the candlestick with a patinated link chain, and with period bobeches. A superb example of this rare sculptural model.
