Condition

Overall very good condition. The patinated bronze surfaces display an exceptionally rich brown and green patina, with occasional minor surface scratches, abrasions and minor rubbing to the patina consistent with age and gentle handling. The candle cups are decorated with iridized favrile glass cabochons which impart great visual interest. All of the cabochon jewels appear original and undisturbed, with traces of light surface soiling along the outer recessed contours. One candle cup with a small area of abrasion on the top of the border encircling one jewel, only visible upon close inspection. With a period snuffer (inset on the reverse of the central standard) and with period bobeches, all in very good condition. A very elegant and sculptural form that presents with strong scale and visual impact. Would make for a beautiful and dynamic centerpiece for any table form.
