Condition

Overall very good condition. The turtle-back tile presents with strong luminous iridescence and a naturalistic irregular surface. The patinated bronze surfaces with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions, and wear to the patina consistent with age and gentle handling. The setting encircling the glass tile possibly sensitively touched up with paint at some point in the history of the piece (not visually detractive). A wonderful, highly attractive object displaying strong luminous color and iridescence to the rare red tile.
