Condition

Overall in very good condition. The shade with scattered minute air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not at all visually detractive. The shade with some light surface scratches to the collar where the shade installs into the base, not visible when the shade is installed. The base is in very good condition and displays a rich brown patina with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions, and light surface soiling and oxidation consistent with age and gentle use. The socket appears to be a later replacement. With a period base switch. A very elegant and graceful form with a strong Art Nouveau sensibility.
