  • 38cm., 15in. long
cartouche form, the domed cover embossed in relief with a putto mask among rocaille and scrollwork, below intermittent plain and foliate lobbing, the front similarly embossed with two crowned lions flanking a central cartouche, between ornate panels of scrolling foliage, central lock-plate, on four winged lion mask and paw feet, padded red velvet interior

Apparently unmarked. Cover does not sit completely flush. Otherwise good overall condition.
