Condition

Collage on paper. Collage elements: Collage elements are stable. There are creases, tears and skinning with associated paper losses throughout the composition, all of these are consistent with the medium employed and inherent with the artist process (all visible in the catalogue illustration). The upper right tip is slightly scuffed. A few collage elements appears to be slightly unsticked, notably to the centre of the right edge and to the lower right corner, consistent with the artistic process. There are dots of foxing, possibly original, most predominately to the lower part of the composition. A few collage elements are undulating, notably towards the centre of the composition. Artist's mount: Brown card affixed to the mount on the reverse towards the centre. The card is light stained with a few dots of foxing. There is an area of slight disolouration to the centre of the card (approx. 4 cm away from the extreme edges). This work is in overall good condition.
