Pingus 1999 Ribera del Duerou. 2bn, scuffed and damp-stained labels, slightly scuffed capsulesLast tasted from magnum when it was 10 years old. This vintage was never racked. It was a classic year in Ribera. Incredible wet earth and red fruit nose, so youthful still. Great esterisation. Lovely chocolate, vanillin and liquorice on the palate.
