Petrus 1978 Pomerolu. 2vts, slightly bin-soiled labels, 1 of which torn, scuffed capsules, 1 slightly depressed corkMature colour. Lovely, plummy nose. Pure damsons too. The sheer, tempting scent becomes enveloping when you swirl it in the glass. Lovely damp earth tastes. Extremely aromatic in the 1978, late-ripened fashion. Flavours of damp rose petals.
