• gilt full plate movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, polished steel hammers repeating on the case • white enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute track • gold case decorated in opaque and translucent enamels with raised painted flower-heads, in the manner attributed to Joaguet and Louis-François Aubert (1721-1755), between chased pointed leaves on a translucent blue ground, bezel similarly decorated, diamond-set thumb piece • dial and movement signed Gudin Paris


The movement is running and repeating at the time of cataloguing however it does not strike the correct time. Dial with some fine hairline cracks. Small chips to the enamel decoration on the case back and around the thumb piece to the bezel. The watch has not been tested to determine the accuracy of its timekeeping.
