Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, Extract from the Archives confirming the date of sale on October 16th, 2001, Attestation, COSC Bulletin, commemorative coin, leather folder and presentation case. The Ref. 5100 was specially manufactured by Patek Philippe to commemorate the new millennium. This reference is the first 10-day power reserve wristwatch made by Patek Philippe and thus historically significant in the development of complicated wristwatches produced by the company.

Inspired by the classic 1952 ref. 2554, the ref. 5100 is housed in a remarkable flare sided case which reminds us of the lines of a manta ray. The chronometer rated movement is clearly visible from the back of the watch, as it is fitted with a sapphire crystal back.
