Lined. The work presents well overall and the surface is fresh and bright, aside from minor surface dirt and dust and finely patterned, barely perceptible craquelure visible in the lightest pigments. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. There are scattered finely applied dashes and pinpoint of retouching in the foreground, house, rocks, and trees. Dashes and small areas of retouching are widely scattered in the sky. More broadly applied dashes of retouching are scattered along the edges, with the most concentrated areas in the upper corners and along the upper edge.
