Condition
This work is in original unlined condition. Overall the work remains bright and fresh aside from visible surface dirt and dust. There is scattered, widely patterned craquelure on the picture surface with some associated minor pinpoint dots of loss and lifting, particularly on the darker blue iceberg at lower left. There are a few additional scattered minor dents and scratches. Abrasion with associated loss is visible along the upper edge in current framing, and with associated discoloration along the right edge. Under UV: there is a long diagonal line of inpainting extending from the upper left edge. One additional small area of retouching near the right upper edge.
