Condition
This work is in original unlined condition. It is loose on the stretcher. Overall the surface is fresh and the colors are bright. There is a web of almost imperceptible craquelure on the picture surface; and minor surface dirt with a few pinpoint dots of discoloration. There is scattered frame abrasion with a few associated very minor losses at the extreme edges. Under UV: there is an eraser head size area fluorescence on her proper right shoulder; and extremely minor areas scattered at the extreme upper edge; otherwise no other retouches visible.
