Condition
Lined. There is a patch adhered to the reverse at lower right. The surface is clean and fresh and the colors remain bright. On the surface there are scattered areas of stable, barely perceptible craquelure most visible in the darker pigments. Some minor frame abrasion widely scattered along the edges, with a spot of minor associated loss at the upper left edge. Under UV: the picture surface is covered in a green fluorescing varnish, though still visible are finely applied, widely scattered lines of inpainting to address prior craquelure; a small area of retouching above the figure in blue's proper left fingers (which corresponds to the aforementioned patch); and a few isolated pinpoint dots of retouching in the background and foreground.
