Pastel on canvas. The work presents well overall and the colors remain vibrant and fresh. There are scattered tiny pinholes visible across the surface, which are concentrated in the background above the figure's torso. There is some possible frame abrasion along the right lower edge; minor abrasion in the curtain at center; and a few dots of discoloration on the pillow and in the background.
