Condition
Lined. There is minor bumping and pulling of the canvas in the upper left corner. The surface is in good condition overall, aside from finely patterned, stable craquelure visible in isolated areas and minor frame abrasion visible along all four edges. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green. The majority of the arch at upper right has been retouched, as has a large area in the upper left corner. There is also brushy retouching in the lower corners. There is a 6 inch thin horizontal area of retouching extending from the left edge underneath the goblet, with a surrounding circular area of brushy retouching. There is broad, brushy retouching scattered throughout the female figure's face and body and also on the white sheet, with a few additional isolated dots in the foreground and background.
