Condition

Lined. Overall the surface is clean and bright and the colors remain fresh. There is very minor surface dust throughout; one pinpoint dot of accretion at upper center; craquelure visible on the bichon frise's fur; and minor frame abrasion at the lower left edge and scattered along the right edge. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. There is a horizontal area of retouching at lower left and finely applied dashes of retouching to the bichon frise's fur, the spaniel's proper left ear, the bowl, and the three chicks. There are some additional small, scattered retouches in the background.
