Condition

Lined. The surface is in good condition overall, aside from minor, stable craquelure, particularly on the kittens. Under UV: the varnish fluoresces green unevenly. There are scattered, finely applied retouches visible on the tablecloth at lower center, on and around the fan, around the outline of the two upper kittens, and as a small line of finely painted dots in the background at upper right. There is one additional small dot of retouching at the upper right edge (when framed).
