Condition

This work is in original unlined condition. There is evidence of a sideways 'L' shaped repair to the canvas at upper left when viewed from the reverse. There is evidence of a possible repair on the picture surface at lower left. There is finely patterned craquleure visible throughout composition and a few extremely minor pinpoint dots of loss. Under UV: Strokes of inpainting throughout the composition, particularly at center, and brushy areas of inpainting in some figures.
