Condition
Oil on stable panel. There is minor surface dirt and dust and a few pinpoint dots of discoloration throughout. There is minor craquelure with associated lifting to the right of the left piano leg. Under UV: heavy varnish fluoresces green unevenly. There are finely applied dashes of retouching at the top of the right piano leg and in the lady in black's hair; an area of retouching to the child's proper left elbow and strengthening to the dark outlines of the child's costume; and a few additional isolated dots and dashes of retouching in the foreground.
