Condition
This work is in original unlined condition and is slightly loose on the stretcher. The work presents well overall, aside from minor surface dirt and dust; a very minor dent in the upper left corner; a few scattered areas of pigment separation; and frame abrasion with some associated discoloration along the left edge. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green. There are older lines of fluorescence around the apple blossoms at left as well as brushy fluorescence in the sky. Finely applied inpainting is scattered throughout the work with some small areas mainly scattered along the lower edge.
