Condition

This work is in original unlined condition. The surface is fresh and bright and presents well. There is minor surface dirt and dust; a few isolated pinpoint dots of discoloration; and finely patterned, stable craquelure visible in the flowers and foliage. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Finely applied dashes of retouching are widely scattered in the leaves, sky and around the horizon at left; and there are isolated fine retouches and areas of strengthening in the flowers and leaves. Some of the pink pigments remain active and fluoresce.
