Condition

This work is in original unlined condition, with associated minor pulling in the upper left corner. The work presents well overall and the surface is stable and fresh, aside from minor surface dirt, grime, and discolored varnish; and minor frame abrasion along the extreme edges. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green evenly; the horse and rider have been selectively cleaned of this varnish and there are very minor finely applied retouches visible in both.
