Condition
This work is in original unlined condition with minor associated undulations throughout. Overall the surface is fresh and bright and the colors remain vibrant. There is minor surface dirt; some areas of discoloration in the sky; and a few isolated pinpoint dots of discoloration in the background and foreground. Finely patterned craquelure is visible in the darker pigments of the horses, figures and dogs; with a few associated small areas of loss and lifting on and around the saddle and the proper left shoulder of the right horse. Under UV: a few isolated pinpoint dots fluoresce in the foreground. There is a diagonal dash of retouching to the right of the far left dog's head and a brushy spot of retouching at the left edge underneath the horizon.
