Condition

Oil on stable panel. The surface is in overall stable and bright. There is a stable web of minor craquelure throughout the picture surface and some pigment separation visible on the dark green areas of the screen. Under UV: green varnish fluoresces unevenly. Finely painted dots, dashes, and small areas of inpainting are scattered throughout the composition, with concentrated areas on the left figure's costume, face and hair, as well as on the chair, screen and cabinet.
