Condition
Oil on stable panel. The surface is covered in a heavy varnish but remains clean and bright. There is minor, stable craquelure visible, especially in the lighter pigments. There is frame abrasion along the edges. Under UV: the picture surface is covered in a green fluorescing varnish. Some isolated retouches are visible in the lower left corner at the extreme edges. There are a few pinpoint dots of retouching over the signature and at the extreme lower right edge and a singular pinpoint dot to the right of the figure's mouth.
