Condition

Oil on stable panel. There is some frame abrasion along the extreme upper and extreme right lower edges. Under UV: a green varnish fluoresces unevenly and the figure's face has been cleaned of this varnish. The entirety of the figure's face, with the exception of her hairline, and the outline of her proper left cheek and chin have been retouched. Additional lines, spots and pinpoint dots of retouching are scattered in some areas of the background, with a concentrated area at lower right between her bosom and the edge, as well as on her proper right shoulder and red flower.
