Condition
Lined. The work presents well overall aside from surface dirt and dust and a few isolated minor dots of discoloration. Under UV: the varnish fluoresces green, though scattered retouches are visible throughout the work. There are small areas of scattered retouching throughout the background; in the subject's hair and face; and additional lines of retouching and strengthening visible in the folds of her dress at lower right. A semi-circular area of repaint along the lower center edge extends approximately 6 inches into the picture surface.
