Condition

This work is in original unlined condition. There is minor bumping and pulling of the canvas along the lower edge and in the upper left corner. The surface is in good condition overall, aside from minor frame abrasion along the upper and right edges and a few pinpoint dots of discoloration on the left figure's skirt. Under UV: the varnish fluoresces green unevenly. There is a small area of retouching under the left figure's wig above her proper right shoulder. Sparely applied, isolated pinpoint dots fluoresce throughout the composition, with a concentrated area around the capital at upper left.
