Condition
Lined. The surface is clean and bright. There is stable, finely patterned craquelure in the foreground and in the sky and clouds. Under UV: the picture surface is covered in a green fluorescing varnish. Long, dashed lines of retouching can be found 1/2 of an inch away from the edges of the composition on all four sides. A few very isolated pinpoint dots and dashes of retouching are also visible on the picture surface.
