Condition

Oil on cradled panel. Overall the work presents well and the surface appears fresh. There is minor abrasion scattered at the edges. Under UV: The majority of the work is covered by a green fluorescing varnish. The sky has been partially cleaned, though there are areas of fluorescence throughout. A few additional areas of fluorescence along the left lower edge. There is an area of retouching approximately 3 inches long in the landscape at right. There are finely applied retouches to the tree at center, scattered dots of retouching along the right edge, and a few additional small dots in the lower section of the work.
