Condition

Playing in the Park above Lac Léman: Oil on board, which is slightly convex from left to right. The surface is visibly dirty and there are widely scattered pinpoint dots of discoloration. Under UV: pinpoint dots, dashes and larger spots of retouching are scattered throughout the composition. Disembarking from a Steamer Towards Montreux: Oil on board, which is slightly convex from left to right. There is a 1 1/2 diagonal bump in the board at upper right. There are two pinpoint dents in the lake at lower right; one has associated loss, but the other at the right edge could be inherent. The surface is visibly dirty and scattered pinpoint dots of discoloration are visible in the sky, lake and mountains. Under UV: there are a few dots of retouching visible at upper left and some areas of brushy retouching in the mountains and in the sky at upper right. Thin lines of retouching are visible in isolated places in the water, sky and in the trees at center left.
