Condition

On both sheets the colors remain fresh and vibrant. Both are hinged in two places along the top edge to the current mat near the upper corners. There is minor surface dirt and toning, which is especially visible at the edges. The first: there are two further inscriptions in two different, unknown hands verso that read "Maison Blanche au Cannet," and "no. 2214." There are remnants of paper tape along the upper, lower and left edges verso. The second: there are two further inscriptions verso in an unknown hand that read "une petite route au Cannet/ no. 2213." Minor rippling visible recto. There are three small areas of abrasion above the tree foliage at center. A few minor scattered fox marks in the sky at upper left and pinpoint dots of discoloration at upper center. Old fabric tape residue along the edges and some surface dirt verso.
