Condition
The canvas appears to be lined. A decorative image reads well. Some scuffing, probably due to framing is visible along the left side. The paint appears pressed in some parts, though some details are preserved, for example in the flower headpiece Venus wears. Craquelure is visible throughout and has some tiny pin dots of associated loss. Reading under UV is impeded due to the old varnish. Painting is offered in a gilded frame.
