The panel is uncradled, flat, and stable with the left and right side beveled. It appears to consists of two boards with a join running horizontally that has four battens on the reverse for support. There is some minor craquelure on the join with small, scattered associated loss on the join. Underneath a yellow varnish the landscape scene reads well. There is some scuffing to the top right quadrant that is barely visible, and three tiny white dots on the bottom left quadrant, as seen with catalogue image. Inspection under UV shows a milky varnish, beneath which further retouches may exists, but there appears to be some along the aforementioned join, as well as a few spots scattered throughout the background sky and on the ground at bottom left. What appears to be some small fills are on the lighter colored green of the ground at center left, though these are not distracting. The painting is offered in a dark wood frame with gold liners.
