Condition

The panel is flat, stable, uncradled and beveled on all four edges. Underneath a slightly yellow varnish, reads a beautiful image with the details well preserved. There are two small spots of loss at the extreme upper edges; one at right, the other at left. Inspection under UV shows thinly applied strokes of retouches scattered throughout the sky and clouds. Other scattered spots of retouching are in the foreground, which include some spots of inpainting at center on the castle, to the right on the ground, and by the boat in the lower left foreground. A cleaning could improve the panels appearance. It is offered unframed.
